The vial preparation takes about 1-2 hours, depending on the number of samples we are going to analyze. In the picture above, you can see the sample extracts (inside the box in the left, and also the transparent vials with green caps) and the vials we prepare for injection (small amber vials in the blue rack), as well as the laboratory material we use for this purpose.
This morning, the last 12 Danish APIStrip extracts have been injected by both gas chromatography (GC, see picture below) and liquid chromatography (LC). I am in charge of the GC analyses, and my colleague Frank performs the analyses by LC.
